Arena FAQs v1.2.0

Augh... I really don't know if I should push through with this... σ( ̄、 ̄〃) Considering that the next update is coming near. And there will be some major changes for arena.

Well, what the heck. Let me introduce to you the arena system for FAS v1.2.0!!! (before it comes to an extinction ┐('~`;)┌)

The usual, I didn't made any FAQs 1.0.0 or whatever. The post title only implies as to what game version we have upon this post. Hence, this FAQs only applies to its respective game version onwards. If there are any game changes, I'll be posting another set of FAQs which will be applicable for the newer version. Until I post another set, these are all still valid, or my laziness is just winning over me to post an update. ┐(︶▽︶)┌

Shall we start? (⌒▽⌒)

  1. What is the Arena?
    • Basically it is the Player-vs-Player (PVP) feature of the game.
  2. I'm not really a PVP fan, should I ignore the arena?
    • No. Even if you're not a PvP type of a player, there's still a benefit in participating in the arena.
  3. What do I get out of it?
    • Basically, it is a Social Point (SP) and Diamond farm house.
    • You will earn three (3) SP for every battle you've won and one (1) SP if you lose.
    • The amount of diamonds you can get from the arena varies on your arena rank for each region by the end of each week. The diamond rewards are distributed after the weekly arena reset. It'll be sent to you in your mailbox.
  4. How can I climb up the arena rankings?
    • Rankings are based on a pointing system. You will earn arena points for each winning battle, likewise, you will get points deduction for every losing battle. I'm not sure as to how the arena points are computed per battle, but basically the logic is if you win against a player whose rank is higher than you, you will get more arena points. And winning against a lower ranked player, you'll get the least amount of points. The lowest arena point that you can get would be one (1) point. And the lowest amount of points deduction would be zero (0).
  5. I always get a one (1) point opponent, how can I get a better match?
    • I still don't know how the arena match-making logic works. Sorry. (*_ _)人
  6. I'm currently at X rank, how much diamonds will I get upon arena reset?
    • It varies on which region you are playing, but basically you can view them by tapping on the "Rewards" tab on the arena entrance screen. In any case, here are some screenshots for your convenience.
    • Flaris
    • Flying Castle
    • Bahara Desert
    • Saint Dock
    • San Press
  7. What is the arena reset time?
    • The arena closes every Monday at 1:30 AM PhST and opens after an hour at 2:30 AM PhST (Philippine Standard Time). You can use this Time Zone Converter to convert it in your respective Time Zone. If you're unsure as to what time zone you are from, you can use this link to find your time zone.
    • Nonetheless, the arena entrance shows as to how much time is left before it resets.
  8. How much diamonds do I have to spend to be included on at least top 50?
    • Honestly, I'm not investing any diamonds in arena and I still always land on the top 50 spot. And if I'm getting lucky on my matches and getting high ranking opponents, I sometimes land on the top 10 without any diamond investment. ☆⌒(ゝ。∂)
  9. How can I land on the top rankings without using any diamonds?
    • Just keep playing the arena without missing any tickets. Pretty simple. (-‿‿-) Don't worry the tickets lost during sleep is fine. Just make sure that you're consuming as many tickets as you can during the day. This can guarantee you to land on the top 50 spot. But if you got a busy schedule everyday and can only play once or twice a day, you can just use the arena to farm SP. Don't expect too much for the rankings though.
    • Avoid losing a match at all cost. If you happened to be matched on a tough opponent, you can just simply cancel the battle. But if you still want to test your luck if you can win, you can still do so. But the trick is, the moment that your opponent is already nearing on his/her 2nd win, immediately close the game without seeing the results. This way, you won't get any point deductions from that losing match. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
  10. How many arena points do I need to have X medal on arena?
    • Bronze 1 = 0000 - 1199 points
    • Bronze 2 = 1200 - 1399 points
    • Bronze 3 = 1400 - 1699 points
    • Silver 4 = 1700 - 1899 points
    • Silver 5 = 1900 - 2099 points
    • Silver 6 = 2100 - 2299 points
    • Gold 7 = 2300 - 2499 points
    • Gold 8 = 2500 - 2699 points
    • Gold 9 = 2700 - OVER 3000 points
  11. Will my rank go down if I am the defender and my opponent beats me?
    • No. You can only earn and lose points if you're the arena challenger.
  12. Howcome I cannot add my 7☆ hero on Flaris arena but I can add my 3☆ hero on San Press arena?
    • Each arena region have a hero tier restriction, which is as follows:
      • Flaris - 3☆ Heroes
      • Flying Castle - 4☆ Heroes
      • Bahara Desert - 5☆ Heroes
      • Saint Dock - 6☆ Heroes
      • San Press - 7☆ Heroes
    • You add in your arena team any heroes that meets the tier restriction or lower. This is to help the low level players to compete on a more justifiable battle field against any high level players.
  13. How can my active skills affects my arena battles?
    • You can just treat it as a handicap for you. It'll help you a lot to win against your arena matches as a challenger since your opponent can't use theirs. The same as how they beat the crap out of your heroes if you're the defender. :P Hence, this is what many refers as the "challenger's advantage".
  14. If the "challenger's advantage" is in place, then how can I make my heroes stronger as a defender?
    • This is merely just based on observations. It seems that even as a defender, the forged gears of your heroes are still in effect. Hence, give them a good set of gears. :) Preferred set would be the Legendary Sets (the ones that contains +Crit, +ASPD, +Power, +Def, +HP, etc.) And it would be best to have the 5-tiered gears as the minimum standard.
  15. What's the best suited gear effects for my heroes?
    • It actually depends on which hero you are referring to. If you want a specific answer for a specific hero, better post them on FAS Global Official FB Group.
    • But on a general aspect, it is best to have a +Def for the shield and +HP for the armor. As for the weapon, it'll vary if it's a ranged or a melee hero.
      • For melees: +Power or +ASPD
      • For long-ranged: +Crit or +Power
  16. Who are the best heroes for arena for each tier?
    • These are all purely subjective in nature. But as a general concept, ranged heroes are always preferred over melee heroes (except for the 6☆ arena where Young is always the preference). Nonetheless, here are my top 5 lists in no particular order:
      • 3☆ Arena: Makky, Sunpirit, Firhe, Lucil, Rodel
      • 4☆ Arena: Luna, Pinanoco, Airyn, Formi, Rahose
      • 5☆ Arena: Bagnis, Alice, Sakky, Kitty, Lucia [Silphi used to be on my top list, but after getting nerfed TWICE, I got to say goodbye to her (⇀‸↼‶)]
      • 6☆ Arena: Young, Luana, Piorena, Airyn, Silphia
      • 7☆ Arena: Bell, Baonis (if only her BUGs are fixed), Akky, Kella, Bykitty
  17. What is the acceptable hero level for me to survive in the arena?
    • Most of the players, especially the regular arena combatants, all got fully upgraded Level 50 heroes on their team. For survivability's sake, do your best to at least have at least two (2) fully upgraded Level 40 heroes in your team. In addition to giving them a good set of gears. The moment you already got some spare wings/time/effort to spare, it is always best to have them at Level 50 for an almost 100% chance of winning all your battles.
I think this is it for now. Please take note that there will be a major overhaul on the arena system. So please, be mindful of that. If you got any other things to add, feel free to drop here a comment. (o´∀`o)
